HTML search proved worthless

So I tried to learn HTML so that I could post a richer blog or when I am commenting other blogs, or even when I have to contribute to a discussion at school through Nicenet.org. I went to Google and searched "HTML" and I went to the first site and it told me the stuff I already know, and then I went to the next 4 and just gave up (no I am not a quitter, but it not something I want to invest a lot of time into, if the first site were to have exactly what I was looking for in easy language I would probably still be on it, learning).But I just couldn't understand it. I can understand the bold the italics and the underline but I just can't seem to get anything else.

First Day

So this is my first blog.
First, an Introduction: My name is Jimmy and I am 16 years old and a junior in highschool. I already have my license and I have already gotten my Eagle Scout rank (well not recieved, I have my Court of Honor for it in like 2-3 weeks, but I did pass the board of review). So basically, a lot of the seminal moments of my teenage life have already passed. So I don't know what you are going ot find interesting about this blog, perhaps the style, perhaps the topics, or perhaps you're like me and just want something to read, something to fill the void.

So, what will I post about? Well...I don't really know. This is my first blog, and I don't really have an idea of what I want to talk about. I'll probably end up talking about my life and all the fun stuff that happens in it. I'll probably also put some links that I found on other sites/blogs and thought were cool.

Well...that's basically it for the first post. I hope to be seeing more of you.
